If you are on this page, what caught your attention is probably this: investing in a 4-star hotel in Rabat. Before I explain the project, I want to be clear from the start. This is not here to pressure you into investing. The goal is to show you the project, why we went into it ourselves, and how — if you are convinced — you can join us as an investor. Once you have seen all the details, the decision stays yours.

Be an investor. Not a manager.
A 4-star hotel project in central Rabat, open to a limited number of co-investors — alongside StayCapital, operated by StayHere.
A target return is an objective, not a promise. Every figure is explained on the call.
The operator — StayHere
StayHere will operate the Rabat hotel once it is ready — the team that enters the project stays with it after opening.

How it works
- 01
You tell us the amount you are considering
One question, then your details. Nobody is turned away: the amount only decides who calls you and how.
- 02
The team calls you back within 48 hours and shares the full file
The amount required, the target duration, the target return, how it is computed and what the figures rest on.
- 03
You visit, you verify, you decide
The Rabat property, the Casablanca site under construction, the permits. Take the time you need — the decision is yours.
- 04
You hold your share, StayHere operates
You invest in the project alongside StayCapital. StayHere runs the hotel and reports to you. You are an investor, not a day-to-day manager.
The risks, plainly
- Renovation can take longer or cost more than planned — we budget for it, and the permits are already in hand.
- A hotel’s results move with occupancy, prices and costs. That is why we show you the assumptions, line by line.
- Your capital is invested for the medium to long term, backed by a real building. The target duration and the exit are part of the file.
- The target return is not guaranteed. It is a figure we work towards and explain.
Designed for sophisticated investors. A target is not a promise: returns are not guaranteed and, as with any investment, capital is at risk. Nothing on this page is an offer to the public; the project is presented in a private conversation.

Questions
Who runs the hotel?
StayHere — the operator behind 10 addresses and more than 300 suites in Rabat, Casablanca and Agadir. The same team that enters the project operates it after opening and follows its results.
Is the return guaranteed?
No — it is a target. We show you how it is computed and what it rests on, so you can judge it yourself.
When do I get my capital back?
This is medium- to long-term capital, tied to a real building. The target duration and the exit are part of the file we share on the call, so you know the horizon before you decide.
How is the investment structured — is there interest?
You hold a share in the vehicle that owns the hotel; no interest is paid or charged. The full structure and its documents are explained on the call.
Can I visit?
Yes. Qualified investors can visit the Rabat property and the Casablanca site under construction, and see the permits.
I live abroad — how does the money move?
Moroccans abroad usually invest through a convertible dirham account, with proof of the foreign origin of the funds and a declaration to the Office des Changes; this is what allows later transfers back. The mechanics are explained on the call — they are described here, not promised.
Why hotels?
From my experience in real estate and hotel operations, I believe hotels are the best-yielding real estate — compared with apartments, shops, garages and offices. Why? Because an apartment, a shop or an office usually earns a fixed monthly rent, and that is where its income stops. A hotel is a property with a whole business running on top of it, every day: bookings, guest service, room to improve revenue, and the value of the property itself.
What is StayCapital?
StayCapital is where the StayHere founders invest in hotels and apart-hotels, committing their own capital and bringing private investors in alongside them. It was incorporated in late 2023 by Mohamed Benzakour and Mohammed Lachgar with Yacine El Jamali and Hicham Maaninou. Current projects include a four-star lifestyle hotel in central Rabat (78 keys, scheduled for the second half of 2027) and Casablanca Cortina (39 suites, fully funded). Returns are a target, not a guarantee.
The operator
Mohammed Lachgar is co-founder and managing director of StayHere, co-founder of StayCapital (Partner, Growth & Technology) and, since February 2024, treasurer of the Regional Tourism Council of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra. He documents the Casablanca build on his YouTube series “Behind the Hotel”.
